Ticketing

WHAT IF I LEFT MY TICKET AT HOME?


The right of admission is reserved. No ticket, No entry. HOWEVER you can present a digital copy to be scanned. We can also look you up in our system with proof of PHOTO identity.




IS IT OK IF THE NAME ON MY TICKET OR REGISTRATION DOESNT MATCH THE PERSON WHO ATTENDS?


If you bring the ticket in either format, we will NOT need to check the name. Tickets are fully transferable and non-refundable.




WHAT IF I NEED TO LEAVE?


PASSOUTS ALLOWED - Patrons are free to come in and out of the festival UNTIL 6PM LOCK OUT.
Your wrist band must be worn and be clearly visible at all times.
Do not remove your wristband.
Anybody 13yrs+ without a wristband will be asked to locate their guardian, pay entry or to leave.




ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?


This is a Licensed event- people under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent or we reserve the right to refuse entry.
Kids 12yrs and under are FREE - but must be accompanied by a responsible ticket paying parent/guardian.
Adult (18+) ticket holders will require a form of ID (Photo Card, Driver Licence etc.) prior to entry. However no ID is require at the market or exhibition.




WHATS THE REFUND POLICY?


All tickets are non-refundable. This is an outdoor festival and will go ahead in light rain, wind ect but if very bad weather is predicted will move to our alternate venue TUNCURRY BEACH BOWLING CLUB. Which will be advised on our website and social media 24hrs prior.




DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT?


You can chose to bring your printed ticket or an electronic version on your smart phone or tablet. HOWEVER if you wish to enter our lucky door prize, a printed copy is used as entry into the draw.




WILL THERE BE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE GATE?


Limited tickets may be available at the gate if not sold out earlier, however we recommend you buy now to avoid disappointment. Also tickets at the gate are slightly more expensive than online tickets.

No under 18's allowed in unless they are in direct company and supervision of their parent or guardian as this is a licensed event.
DISABILITY CARERS
Companion Card accepted providing FREE entry for the Carer of a paid ticket holder. Companion card MUST BE PRESENTED to gate staff.

IS THERE EFTPOS AVAILABLE?


YES, but only at the gate and merch tent.
Most market stalls, food stalls and bar are CASH SALES ONLY.
Several ATM's can be found on Manning Street Tuncurry such as inside the Bellevue Hotel, Redi ATM at Holiday Coast Credit Union, Newcastle Permanent ATM at the front of PJ's Bargain Store. Other ATMS can be found across the bridge in Forster on Wharf St.





Where?

WHERE ARE THE TOILETS?


Public/Disabled toilets can be accessed at the Tuncurry Pool on Point Road next to the Tuncurry Memorial Hall.
Portaloos will also be available to the public during the Markets in Lone Pine Memorial Park.
Portaloos can be found inside the music festival grounds at John Wright Park as well as public/disabled toilets.
No change tables are available sorry.




WHERE ARE THE MARKETS?


The markets are to the right hand side of the bridge in Lone Pine Memorial Park, Tuncurry NSW.




WHERE IS THE ART PRIZE EXHIBTION?


The Art Exhibition has moved to Great Lakes Art Society on Lakes Street Forster. Entry is free. The Youth Art trail is on wharf street Forster in participating stores





Parking

IS THERE PARKING?


THERE IS NO ONSITE PARKING, However the closest parking is around the Point Road area and Taree Street Tuncurry, a short walk to the festival site – John Wright Park, Manning St Tuncurry.
For people who might enjoy a walk across the Forster Tuncurry bridge, more parking is available behind the Forster Beach Surf Club on the corner of North and Beach St and the car park near Forster Beach Caravan Park.




IS THERE DISABLED PARKING?


In front of the entrance to the festival site – Manning St, John Wright Park there is a designated area for people with disabilities to park. There will be signage marking the area. If this area is full, the staff at our gate (you can pull your car into speak to them) will be more than happy to direct people to another area that we can utilise.




IS THERE DISABILITY ACCESS?


Yes there is disabled access. Designated drop off zone at entrance gate, the park grounds are flat and wheelchair friendly. There is only a normal gutter on the access lane that divides the park in half. Travel to and from the north and south ends of the park has a wheelchair friendly path. Yes there are disabled toilets in the main amenities building inside the Music festival and Art Prize Exhibition, Tuncurry Memorial Hall. companion card accepted.




WHERE ARE THE PICK UP DROP OFF ZONES?


Drop off/ Pick up/ Taxi zone located along Manning street in front of festival Disability drop off zones available at Main Entry Gate, Manning Street.

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?


BRING A RAIN COAT. The event will still go ahead in rain, however we will keep everyone notified on our facebook page and event listing. Unfortunately if it is hailing, ghastly winds and the heavens open up and swallow us up whole, the Create and Grow Markets will be cancelled and the music event may move location TO CLUB FORSTER as a Plan B.
The Art Exhibition will continue as planned.




WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE EVENT?


You can bring a chair, rug or blanket. Hats. Sunscreen is available for your protection. We will provide shade structures, but of course "the first come - first serve" rule will apply.




WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE EVENT?


You cannot bring marquees, tents or umbrellas. You cannot bring bottles, cans, glass, food, drink,(baby and toddler food excepted), BYO alcohol, illicit drugs, illegal substances, fireworks, explosives or anything that can be used as a weapon. We cannot allow pets. Bag checks will be performed by security personnel at the entry gate.




IS THERE SEATING?


There is NO SEATING PROVIDED so please feel free to bring your own chair or picnic rug.




IS THERE SHADE?


We will have some large shade marquees available, but you would need to get in early to grab a spot there. Remember to slip, slop, slap and wear a hat! DO NOT bring your own shade structures. Water proof ponchos/jackets are recommended for wet weather.




CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?


NO BYO food or drink allowed inside the music festival. Leniency is considered for infants.
There are several delicious food stalls, something for everyone on site plus a bar that won't send you broke! The Bar is hosted by The Bellevue Hotel, with a selection of premixed drinks, craft beer and wine. Refill your water bottles either at the MidCoast Water/Acess Fuel's refill stations located at Lone Pine Memorial Park and John Wright Park Tuncurry.




CAN I BRING MY DOG?


Sorry, not pets allowed - Companion/Working animals allowed.




WHAT IS THERE FOR KIDS TO DO?


There are several workshops for all ages, kids rides and entertainment plus a free toddler sandpit.
Loads of space to dance and play inside the Festival.
There is also a public playground to play on at the Create and Grow Market. Parents must supervise their child/ren at all times.





Smoking

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?


Smoking is only permitted in allocated marked areas within the festival. In accordance with NSW smoking laws, cigarettes will not be sold inside the festival. Please consider the environment and fellow patrons when disposing your cigarette butt. No smoking inside the marquees, structures & buildings.





Food & Alcohol

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?


No outside BYO food, drinks or alcohol allowed, special dietary requirements pass can be issued on request.Infant and toddler food/drink permitted. No eskies/ cooler bags permitted.
PLEASE NOTE:The Lakeside Festival is licensed event. Bag checks will be carried out. ID will be required for alcohol purchases (Adult Wristband). In accordance with the liquor act, it is an offense to refuse to leave a licensed area when asked, an on the spot fine of $550 applies.
Excessive consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated. Please drink responsibly. People wishing to enter the event who are affected by alcohol may be refused entry. The possession, sale or use of illicit substances is prohibited. Offenders will be removed from site and subject to Police action.





Waste Management

WHERE DO WE PUT OUR RECYCLING & RUBBISH?


We are always working on improving our recycling initiatives. We have an effective bin system throughout the site, and ask that you put all rubbish in its place. Bins will be provided in all festival areas. Please place plastic into recycling bins provided and aluminium cans into the GREAT LAKES WOMEN'S SHELTER RETURN AND EARN BINS. Lakeside Festival thanks you for your contribution to keeping the Midcoast beautiful and every can counts. It's a team effort





Permissions & Prohibited

CAN WE TAKE PHOTO'S / VIDEO'S OF THE EVENT?


Yes, infact we encourage it. Please tag us on social media #LFEST18 #LakesidefestivalNSW. The Lakeside Festival reserves the right to publish any photos or videos of an individual across any form of media. By entering the festival, you agree to these terms. If you object to your image being published please contact the committee at the Merch Tent HQ.




LOSS AND DAMAGE?


Lost and found can be located at the Merch/ HQ tent at the entrance of the Music Festival. You can contact us after the event via email or facebook messaging app. The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damages sustained while entering or on the site. Any Person who, intentionally or otherwise, damages the site, removes any equipment without permission, enters a restricted area without permission or breaches the terms and conditions may be required to leave the site and must do so on request. Please respect the local community. The locals have been kind enough to let us hold this fabulous event in their area so please respect them and the surrounding properties. Children must be supervised on playground at all times
